Job summary

Central Maine Power Co. seeks a Lead Analyst for Database Support specializing in Oracle Exadata. You will provide SME-level leadership for Exadata RAC environments, patching, backups, and DR configurations. The role requires extensive Oracle experience and strong mentoring abilities.

The position is in Augusta, ME, with on-site work, a competitive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth. Travel within the US is possible.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; MS preferred.
• Minimum four years’ experience with Oracle Exadata database machines.
• Oracle Exadata expertise in storage cells, compute nodes, and RoCE network switches.
• Experience with Linux (OEL/RHEL) and Unix; scripting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Oracle Exadata systems and RAC configurations.
• Apply quarterly full-stack patches to Exadata, Grid Infrastructure, and Oracle DB layers.
• Design and manage backups/DR with RMAN and Recovery Manager.
• Configure storage cells, compute nodes, and network RoCE switches.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and lead incident resolution.
