Job summary

TorchLight seeks an experienced Events Manager for a Washington, DC region-based events management company. The role is fully remote with travel to onsite events; you will interface with clients and deliver digital, live and hybrid events.

Ideal candidates hold CMP/CGMP certifications and have at least five years of leading event programs, plus a Bachelor’s in hospitality, communications, or related field. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 5 years of end-to-end event program leadership.
• Experience managing corporate, nonprofit, or association meetings and events.
• Proven ability to review and negotiate venue and supplier contracts.
• Familiar with online registration systems and event tech.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute meetings, including client leadership, timelines, budgets, content and reports.
• Oversee team members during event execution and ensure quality across projects.
• Lead multiple projects and support leadership in event deployment and SOPs.
• Develop digital solutions and map the digital journey for client objectives.
• Participate in client meetings, budgets, research, and proposals.
• Manage onsite and hybrid/digital client events.
