Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a 9-month Events Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute high-visibility strategic events. The role requires meticulous organization and the ability to manage complex programs end to end.

You will collaborate with marketing, sales, product, operations and external partners, keep programs on time and on budget, and ensure each event reflects the company’s brand and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in event management, field marketing, experiential marketing, or corporate events.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing budgets and production schedules for large events.
• Experience with coordinating across marketing, sales, product, and operations teams.
• Experience working with external vendors, agencies, and production partners.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of strategic events and other priority programs.
• Manage event timelines, milestones, workback plans, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across marketing, sales, product, creative, operations, and leadership.
• Partner with vendors, venues, agencies, and production teams to deliver polished event experiences.
• Track spend against budget and manage operational requirements.
• Support attendee management, registration workflows, communications, and run-of-show planning.
• Build and maintain event briefs, status updates, and post-event recaps.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly and keep stakeholders informed when plans change.
• Help ensure every event reflects the organization’s brand, standards, and strategic priorities.
