Job summary

Revecore is seeking an Event Setup Specialist to evaluate incoming medical provider documents, update patient records in AcciClaim, and determine the next steps based on contracts and state requirements. This role supports hospitals in revenue recovery and can be performed from a home-based setup.

You will enter data, synthesize information, and work with paper, fax, and electronic formats while maintaining strict PHI confidentiality. Strong organization and rapid data processing are essential.

Qualifications

• Typist capable of 35 WPM with accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal customers.
• Highly organized and able to follow a systematic method of performing tasks.
• Enter and process large amounts of information quickly with minimal errors.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Understand MRA departments and information needs to perform their functions.
• Able to adapt workflow per client contractual and state requirements.
• Familiarity with medical payer hierarchies (auto/health).
• Proficient with MS Office and WordPerfect; quick to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming data and identify leads and information important for event work.
• Enter relevant new information into patient records.
• Synthesize information and determine additional data needed and next steps for the event.
• Interact with data in paper, fax, and electronic formats.
• Meet production standards and QA requirements.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and PHI; do not access unrelated data.
