Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager (EV Charging) to oversee complex electrical/industrial projects from a home-based setting with 30–50% travel in the Southeast. You will coordinate schedules, budgets, and scope while guiding client communications and design adherence. Strong PM, budgeting, and permitting experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing the construction of complex electrical or industrial projects.
• Willingness to travel semi-locally a couple days per week.
• Experience preparing Project Management Plans and fee/budget proposals.
• Experience developing and driving action plans to achieve goals.
• Ability to monitor scope throughout the project and adjust when needed.
• Ability to prepare and communicate cost and revenue projections.
• Knowledge of permitting processes and ability to drive approvals.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to contribute to organization goals and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Value engineer to identify savings and ensure material substitutions are equivalent.
• Communicate with and manage project stakeholders.
• Prepare PM plan and fee budget at project outset.
• Translate client goals to project team and drive execution.
• Develop action plans and coordinate with cost management for estimates and budgets.
• Drive permitting processes with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Ensure design management follows client documents and standards.
• Prepare cost and revenue projections.
