Job summary

InfiCare is seeking an ETL Software Engineer for a 6-month remote contract. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and deploying ETL/EDI data exchanges, with responsibility for researching requirements, implementing complex logic, and ensuring efficient data processes.

Candidates should have a CS/CE/SE degree, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency with SQL Server, Informatica, and SSIS, in a healthcare data context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/SE or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with healthcare data.
• Experience with business and system requirements.
• Proficient in SQL Server.
• Data warehouse development with ETL tools such as Informatica and SSIS.
• Good working knowledge of relational databases.
• Familiarity with development methodologies and guidelines.
• Strong understanding of the development process and its components.
• Knowledge of Healthcare industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, creative, inquisitive, persistent, and self-motivated.
• Ability to organize, plan and implement work assignments under tight deadlines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read/write SQL queries.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide program design, coding, testing, and production deployment of ETL/EDI data exchanges.
• Assist in documenting user requirements and system specifications.
• Design and develop complex program logic addressing specific programming needs.
• Maintain and update existing systems to meet user requirements and enhance efficiency.
• Translate solutions into detailed system and program design specifications.
• Analyze, evaluate, and modify existing or proposed systems.
• Modify and document program code to correct errors or enhance capabilities.
• Create and troubleshoot code using company tools.
• Ensure data processes are efficient and follow best practices and standards.
• Complete lifecycle documentation for new and existing software programs including post-testing fixes.
