Job summary

Caris Life Sciences, Inc. is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to implement back-end ETL pipelines that ingest healthcare data from EMRs and other systems. You will help enable analytics dashboards by preparing validated data and ensuring timely delivery to business users.

The role requires 3+ years in ETL and relational databases, HL7 experience, and strong problem-solving skills. Remote work options are available with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 3+ years of ETL programming experience.
• 3+ years experience with relational databases.
• Experience with HL7.
• Ability to work independently solving application software problems.
• Experience establishing ETL strategies across multiple data sources, including EMR systems.
• Ability to assemble and query complex data and perform in-depth analysis.
• Experience with SQL and/or MySQL.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between business and technology by leading technical requirements and integration approaches.
• Assemble large datasets of clinical outcomes for ingestion into Caris' systems.
• Contribute to design and development of clinical informatics and BI infrastructure.
• Establish access to EMRs across platforms using direct DB access, FHIR, HL7, APIs or other methods.
• Gather business requirements and build dashboard outputs from ETL data in agile fashion.
• Adhere to departmental and corporate standards; perform other duties as assigned.
