Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced ETL Developer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data integration pipelines supporting BI, analytics, and cloud modernization.

You will collaborate with data architects, engineers, BI developers, and cloud engineers to deliver scalable, high-quality data solutions with governance and security considerations. Requires 5+ years of experience and strong SQL/ETL skills.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional experience developing enterprise ETL solutions.
• Hands-on experience with major ETL platforms such as Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, Talend, IBM DataStage, or Pentaho.
• Advanced SQL development skills with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or Teradata.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehousing.
• Experience designing ETL workflows with complex transformations, joins, aggregations, lookups, and validations.
• Experience implementing CDC, SCD Type 1 & Type 2, and incremental loading.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (ADF, AWS Glue, or Data Fusion) and data lakehouse concepts.
• Proficiency with JSON/XML/CSV/Parquet/Avro data formats and data ingestion.
• Familiarity with Python/PowerShell/Shell scripting for ETL automation.
• Experience with CI/CD and schedulers like Airflow, Control-M, Autosys; Git/Azure DevOps/Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale projects.
• Build scalable ingestion workflows from relational DBs, cloud apps, APIs, files, and enterprise systems.
• Develop transformation logic for cleansing, standardizing, validating, and enriching data.
• Design and optimize batch and near real-time data processing for reporting and analytics.
• Implement SCD, CDC, incremental loading, and data reconciliation processes.
• Develop reusable ETL frameworks and metadata-driven workflows.
• Perform source-to-target mapping, data profiling, and quality analysis.
• Optimize ETL performance with SQL tuning, partitioning, indexing, and parallelism.
• Monitor workflows, troubleshoot production issues, and implement alerting/recovery.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers to migrate legacy ETL to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Participate in data architecture discussions, code reviews, deployment planning, and production support.
• Ensure data security, governance, auditability, and regulatory compliance across pipelines.
