Job summary

Minnesota Connections Academy is seeking a Multilingual Learner Teacher to support K-12 students from home in Minnesota, collaborating with general education teachers and learning coaches to ensure successful completion of instructional programs.

The EL Teacher will lead language proficiency screenings, participate in Title III compliance trainings, and use virtual instruction tools to deliver asynchronous and synchronous sessions while maintaining up-to-date records.

Qualifications

• Must hold ESL certification for grades 3-12.
• Experience teaching EL students preferred.
• Bilingual preferred, but not required.
• Strong technology skills with Google Suite.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate language proficiency screenings and testing, with timelines for meetings and documentation.
• Attend local and state PD trainings related to Title III compliance and instruction.
• Collaborate with students' teachers and families to support learning progress.
• Deliver asynchronous and synchronous virtual instruction and coaching.
• Maintain up-to-date student records and EL data views for reporting.
