Job summary

LoanCare is seeking an Escrow Hazard Insurance Specialist I who collaborates with clients, industry partners, and internal teams to maximize homeowner outcomes. The role monitors insurance vendors, maintains appropriate coverage, and processes force-placed insurance when needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in mortgage loan servicing or related roles and can manage priorities in a high-volume environment while maintaining confidentiality. Remote-friendly with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of mortgage loan servicing or related experience preferred.
• Able to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor third-party insurance vendor to ensure bills are paid promptly and guidelines followed.
• Work with vendor to ensure adequate coverage on escrowed and non-escrowed properties.
• Process force-placed insurance when borrowers fail to provide proof of coverage.
• Monitor Hazard and Flood coverage amounts according to investor guidelines.
• Assist with PMI/MIP payments and respond to customer insurance inquiries.
• Handle insurance issues via phone or written correspondence.
