Job summary

Opendoor is seeking an Escrow Closer to support nationwide real estate closings. You will manage the closing process, ensure compliance with lender instructions, and prepare documents for title insurance at closing.

You will be the primary point of contact for borrowers, lenders, processors, and others, handling questions and ensuring accurate disbursements. The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and collaboration across teams to meet deadlines and drive successful

Qualifications

• Must be located in MD or WA.
• Experience in the title and escrow industry.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional interaction with borrowers, loan officers, processors, and underwriters.
• Familiarity with refinance transactions and requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of the escrow process and mortgage lending regulations.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills; deadline-driven.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the real estate closing transaction with independent judgment.
• Determine steps to cure title per contract and lender instructions.
• Prepare closing documents to ensure title insurance at closing.
• Secure all documents required for title insurance issuance.
• Serve as single point of contact for borrowers, loan officers, processors and others.
