Job summary

SIG (Strata Information Group) is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead ERP and SIS implementations for higher education. This remote role allows you to work with colleges nationwide while traveling up to 25% to client sites as needed.

You will develop detailed plans, manage budgets, coordinate resources, and communicate with executives to ensure on-time delivery of complex SaaS-enabled projects. Ideal candidates have PMP and Ellucian experience.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of project management experience within higher education.
• Experience with SaaS implementation.
• Experience managing software enhancements and releases for ERP/SIS.
• Strong written and verbal communication; executive reporting.
• Experience with Smartsheet to plan and track large projects.
• Willingness to travel to client campuses up to 25% and ERP/SIS familiarity (Ellucian Banner/Colleague).

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day execution of ERP and SIS implementation projects from initiation to post go-live support.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
• Monitor budgets, scope, and timelines; identify variances and propose actions.
• Coordinate SIG consulting resources across project workstreams with the PMO Director.
• Staff client project teams and ensure engagement and accountability for deliverables.
• Facilitate meetings, reviews, and status reporting to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies.
• Support change readiness and client adoption of new processes.
