Job summary

Altius Search Group is seeking an Executive Sales Officer to join its Equipment Finance platform in a remote capacity. The role focuses on sourcing new business, building client relationships, and structuring financing solutions for middle-market companies.

You will originate transactions across industries, collaborate with credit and operations, manage a robust pipeline, and drive production goals while working independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of sales experience in equipment finance or a similar commercial finance environment.
• Verifiable production history in equipment finance originations.
• Strong understanding of equipment finance products, pricing, and transaction structures.
• Foundational knowledge of credit, financial statements, and transaction risk assessment.
• Proven ability to build a pipeline through cold calling, referrals, networking, and relationship development.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities through direct calling, networking, and referrals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with middle-market clients and centers of influence.
• Develop internal partnerships to uncover financing opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Originate equipment finance transactions across a variety of industries and asset classes.
• Evaluate transaction opportunities, including client financial position, structure, and overall fit.
• Partner with credit, documentation, and operations teams to ensure service and sound risk management.
• Manage and grow an active pipeline to meet or exceed annual production and portfolio growth goals.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions, competitive dynamics, and changes in client credit quality.
