Job summary

Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking an Outside Sales Equine Specialist to expand our equine veterinary product line within a defined geographic region. The role involves extensive travel, building relationships with equine hospitals, boarding facilities, arenas, and tracks, and collaborating with Inside Sales Representatives to maximize sales opportunities.

The candidate will work with the Equine Business Unit Director, Regional Manager, and National Sales Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years' experience in equine veterinary industry in field sales.
• Strong written and verbal English; ability to read and interpret safety policies and manuals.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute sales calls to equine clinics, tracks, and universities within assigned territory.
• Promote and sell equine veterinary products and Midwest Equine Business Solutions.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives to maximize sales and share market information.
• Maintain relationships with vendor reps and participate in vendor meetings and training.
• Travel locally; ride with OSR’s and ISR’s; manage territory reporting and expenses.
