Job summary

Vaylent is seeking a senior Epicor ERP specialist to lead the technical implementation and ongoing support of Epicor Kinetic in a remote-capable, travel-friendly role. You will own digital work instructions, shop-floor workflows, and integrations across MES, PLM, quality, and finance systems.

Leverage 5+ years in ERP, strong SQL and reporting skills, plus experience upgrading ERP environments. This role requires U.S.

Qualifications

Five or more years of hands‑on ERP technical experience, including substantial Epicor experience.
Experience designing, implementing, or supporting digital work instructions and MES workflows.
Hands‑on Epicor Kinetic experience, including Application Studio and migration of Classic customizations to Kinetic.
Strong SQL skills with reporting against an ERP data model.
Experience building ERP integrations using REST services or middleware.
Experience planning and executing ERP upgrades or version migrations.
Ability to document technical work to a standard for future support.
U.S. Person as defined by ITAR.

Responsibilities

Serve as the senior technical resource for the Epicor environment, including data model, BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, and reporting.
Own the technical implementation and support of digital work instructions and shop‑floor workflows.
Design, build, test, and document Epicor customizations and reports against documented requirements.
Build and maintain integrations between Epicor and MES, PLM, quality, shipping, and financial systems.
Manage Epicor environments, change management, source control, and release traceability.
Develop regression testing for ERP workflows and plan upgrades and migrations.
Develop and maintain ERP reporting via SQL views, SSRS, and Crystal reports.
Lead data migration and site consolidation projects and reduce customization debt.
Document environments and runbooks; share knowledge to reduce external dependencies.
Ensure ITAR/NIST/CMMC controls and provide direction to external Epicor specialists.
