Job summary

Vaylent, a software-enabled aerospace and defense manufacturing platform, seeks a senior Epicor ERP Engineer to own the Epicor environment, drive modernization, and support data, integrations, and reporting.

You will lead upgrades, migrations, and change-management practices, while partnering with manufacturing and finance teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. Remote with travel for critical deployments. Strong ITAR/NIST/CMMC alignment is required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of hands-on ERP technical experience, with substantial Epicor expertise.
• Experience designing or supporting digital work instructions and shop-floor workflows.
• Strong SQL skills for reporting against ERP data models.
• Experience building ERP integrations via REST or middleware platforms.
• Ability to upgrade or migrate ERP environments with existing customizations.
• Ability to document technical work to a standard for team support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical resource for the Epicor environment and data model.
• Own technical implementation of digital work instructions and shop-floor workflows.
• Design, build, test, and document Epicor customizations, dashboards, and UDFs.
• Maintain Epicor integrations with MES, PLM, quality, shipping, and finance systems.
• Lead environment management and change-control across dev, test, and prod.
• Develop regression tests and participate in Epicor upgrades and migrations.
• Provide technical direction to external Epicor specialists and partners.
• Partner with manufacturing and finance users to translate requirements into solutions.
• Capture and share technical knowledge to reduce external dependence.
