Socket.dev is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist with EPIC experience to manage insurance verifications, submissions and tracking from submission through approval.

This fully remote, 40-hour workweek in PST time supports HIPAA-compliant communication with providers and payors, documentation, and revenue-cycle operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior authorization experience required.
• Proficient EPIC user.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and multitasking ability helpful.

Responsibilities

• Complete insurance verifications, submit and track prior authorizations through to approval.
• Communicate with providers and insurance payors regarding authorization status.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and support daily revenue cycle operations.
