Socket.dev is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist to manage insurance verifications, submit and track authorizations, gather required documentation, and coordinate with payors and clinicians using EPIC.

This remote, full-time role operates in the PST time zone (7am–6pm) with a 40-hour work week and an hourly wage of $21–$23 plus potential performance bonus incentives and health benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior authorization experience.
• Proficient EPIC.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Handle prior authorizations from submission through approval.
• Communicate with providers and insurance payors regarding status.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and support daily revenue cycle operations.
• Gather required documentation for authorizations and track progress.
