Job summary

Washington Regional Medical Center is seeking an Applications Analyst – Epic Prelude to deliver advanced support, design, build, testing, and optimization of Epic Prelude and related patient access applications. You will collaborate with patient access, registration, scheduling, clinical operations, revenue cycle, and compliance teams to support accurate, efficient workflows.

The role requires Epic Prelude certification, strong knowledge of patient access operations, and experience with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or clinical license, preferred.
Epic Prelude certification required.
Additional Epic certification or proficiency in Cadence, Grand Central, Resolute, MyChart, Cheers, Cogito, or related integrated applications preferred.
Four to six years of patient access, registration, revenue cycle, or healthcare applications experience as an analyst, with Epic build/testing/implementation experience preferred.]
Experience with Epic Prelude workflows including patient identity, registration, demographics, eligibility, and workflows is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain advanced knowledge of Epic Prelude functionality and related records.
Lead Prelude enhancements, optimization initiatives, and workflow improvements.
Oversee Prelude design, build, configuration, maintenance, and validation to meet requirements.
Coordinate interfaces and integrations with Cadence, Grand Central, Resolute, MyChart, and other apps.
Provide mentorship and training on workflows and applications.
Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
