Job summary

Huron Consulting Group is seeking an Epic Patient Access Consultant to join the Healthcare Transformation Services team. You will support Epic Revenue Cycle workflows, configure systems, and optimize RTE and registration processes for client hospitals and health systems.

In this role, you will work remotely with client teams, complete build/test specifications, and travel up to 25% to milestones. Epic certifications (Prelude, RTE, Referrals, Grand Central, Cadence) are preferred, with a strong

Epic Prelude certification required
Hands-on Epic RTE experience required
Experience with Epic Revenue Cycle workflows, configuration, and optimization
Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment
Ability to travel up to 25% for project milestones

Responsibilities

Support Epic Revenue Cycle workflow and system configuration optimization.
Complete and/or develop specifications for Epic build and testing activities.
Optimize Real-Time Eligibility (RTE), including query chaining, benefit filing, and plan mapping.
Support ASA table / Auto Status Assignment optimization for referrals.
Assist with registration, authorization, and front-end workflow enhancements and automation.
Optimize patient and referral workqueues and related Revenue Cycle processes.
Partner with client IT teams to support implementation and testing.
