Job summary

enGen is seeking a highly motivated Epic OpTime Analyst to join our combined Epic OpTime and Anesthesia team. The ideal candidate will understand perioperative workflows and have experience with Epic OpTime and/or Anesthesia modules.

Remote-based role with responsibilities including configuration, rollout, and support of Epic applications. The role emphasizes system analysis, requirements, design, testing, and working with end users to implement solutions.

Qualifications

• 3 years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules.
• Epic Application Certification within 6 months.
• Associates degree required; 2 years of relevant work experience may substitute.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for the periop departments, leveraging the Epic OpTime module.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to understand their needs and translate those needs into effective analytical solutions within Epic OpTime.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation processes related to Epic OpTime.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of perioperative/surgical areas.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
• Plans, designs/builds, tests, implements, and supports the needs of Epic software.
• Analyzes and determines system requirements and specifications. Performs workflow analysis and documents user experiences. Maintains documentation and training materials.
