Job summary

Duke Health Technology Solutions is seeking an Epic Inpatient Application Analyst to lead deployment, training, and support for Maestro Care (Epic) Inpatient EHR. You will collaborate with clinicians and IT staff to optimize workflows, build configurations, and ensure successful system implementations across Duke Health.

The role requires Epic certification, strong clinical workflow knowledge, and the ability to train end users and provide after-hours production support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a clinical field is required or offsetting IT/clinical experience.
Epic certification and proficiency in Maestro Care/Epic modules is expected.
Experience building, testing, and deploying Epic/Inpatient workflows.
Ability to train end users and support staff across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

Advise and assist with educational issues, including cross-training of team members and end users.
Serve as Maestro Care Inpatient EHR expert for base functionality and testing across releases.
Develop and document system and user procedures, and support end users post-implementation.
Coordinate deployment tasks, testing, and issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
