Job summary

AdventHealth seeks a skilled Epic Analyst to maintain and optimize clinical and business systems supporting patient care delivery. You will collaborate with clinicians to design, build, test, train, implement, and maintain Epic and related solutions, documenting workflows and conducting thorough testing.

The role involves cross-functional project work, strong communication with leadership, and ongoing ability to adapt to upgrades while ensuring Epic specifications are met.

Qualifications

• Epic Certification required or ability to obtain within 3 months of classes.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of clinical/technical workflow is required.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and rapidly learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business problems and map them to Epic and related systems.
• Design, build, test, train, implement, evaluate, and maintain Epic modules and supporting apps.
• Document workflows, perform gap analyses, and develop future workflows for new implementations.
• Coordinate with physicians and end users to capture requirements and workflows.
• Develop test scripts and execute end-to-end testing; document outcomes and lessons.
• Provide guidance to analysts, PMs, and consultants; participate in cross-functional projects.
