Job summary

UTHealth Houston is seeking a Certified Epic BI Developer (BID III) to analyze, specify, and deliver reports for Epic Cogito Clarity. You will be the primary Epic data model resource, ensuring design, validation, and optimization of reporting across modules, working with stakeholders to meet clinical and operational needs.

Remote role with Texas residency required; excellent healthcare benefits and pension plan included. Strong emphasis on collaboration with BI team and Epic project groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required.
• Epic certification required or equivalent experience in Epic data models.
• Minimum 5 years in health-care BI/ETL reporting and SQL development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design reports for assigned Epic applications.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and specs.
• Maintain and optimize Epic reporting components and data models.
• Collaborate with end users, leadership, and project teams to deliver BI solutions.
