Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners seeks an Epic Architecture Lead for Orchestration Works, focused on Epic integration and production readiness. You’ll define data movement, interfaces, and APIs, while advising pods on Epic workflows and validating patterns in a dedicated sandbox environment.

Collaboration with engineering, Applied AI, and concept teams is required, with on-site Austin collaboration and travel as needed. Remote work is supported for qualified candidates within the US.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Epic experience in build, integration, and workflow design.
• Epic certification in Cadence, Hospital Billing, or Professional Billing.
• Deep working knowledge of Epic data structures, interfaces, APIs, and web services.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Epic connection approach for every OW build—data integration, interfaces, APIs, and web services—through production readiness.
• Determine what Epic data each initiative needs, how it is accessed, and how it stays accurate as solutions move to production.
• Advise pods on Epic workflows across applications throughout the 120-day cycle to ensure design around how Epic actually works.
• Own how OW uses Ensemble’s Epic sandbox environment as part of the build cycle—stand up test scenarios and trial patterns.
• Work hands-on with engineers, AI practitioners, and concept teams, translating between Epic architecture and the systems built on top of it.
• Find or build the case for creating Epic connection patterns, data paths, or answers not yet documented.
• Ensure Epic integration patterns OW proves out are documented and repeatable for production readiness.
• Coordinate with Epic Services to align OW work with Ensemble’s Epic standards and upgrade roadmaps.
