Description

POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for supporting and coordinating all issues related to assigned Epic applications, providing subject matter expertise, and aligning workflows with Trinity Health policies and operations. Collaborates with other coordinators, project managers, trainers, and application managers to ensure effective system implementation and support.

Essential Functions

• Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Consult with healthcare providers, clinicians, and management to support workflows and initiatives.
• Analyze data to support projects and communicate findings effectively.
• Provide guidance on system integration, architecture, and clinical system implementations.
• Research and recommend new functionalities and upgrade strategies.
• Suggest innovative solutions to improve workflows, safety, productivity, and financial outcomes.
• Lead application integration decisions and support documentation development.
• Reengineer business processes for improvement.
• Develop project plans and status reports.
• Participate in designing evidence-based workflows and decision support tools.
• Use performance improvement methodologies and change management strategies.
• Engage in interdisciplinary groups for system design and outcomes reporting.
• Demonstrate teamwork and collaborative leadership.
• Handle multiple projects, pursue professional growth, and utilize project management tools.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a subject matter expert, specialist, or consultant.
• Ability to learn Epic software and obtain Epic Certification within 3-6 months.
• 3-5 years experience in performance/business process improvement or IT system development.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong communication, analytical, and team management skills.

Physical and Work Environment

Office environment with typical conditions. Requires communication, manual dexterity, and the ability to work on multiple projects, sometimes after hours or weekends, and possibly participate in on-call schedules.
