What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Provide primary support and contact for assigned applications, coordinating issues throughout projects
  2. Consult with providers, clinicians, and management to support decisions and workflows
  3. Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to enhance clinical and operational needs
  4. Prepare detailed project work plans and status reports for management
  5. Participate in interdisciplinary groups for design, implementation, and outcome reporting decisions

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Bachelor's degree in healthcare, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
  2. 3 to 5 years of experience in performance/business process improvement activities
  3. Ability to learn Epic software and obtain EPIC Certification within 3 to 6 months
  4. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and business teams
  5. Willingness to travel to various work sites as needed

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Current Epic certification preferred
  2. Familiarity with information systems and clinical software applications
  3. Experience with performance improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
  4. Proven ability to motivate team members and foster a collaborative environment
  5. Experience in managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities
