We are looking for someone with Epic HIM Release of Information or Deficiency Tracking certification and/or strong Epic EMR build experience in other modules. Position Summary: As a Remote Epic Application Coordinator (HIM/Deficiency Tracking), you will be at the forefront of designing, building, configuring, testing, validating, and supporting our Epic applications. Your deep understanding of the software and its integration with operational workflows will be key to your success. You will also lead project activities, facilitate design sessions, and collaborate with training teams—all while working 100% remotely!

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Associate Degree or higher, or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 5+ years in Healthcare IT
  • Certification: Must complete required product implementation training and pass Epic certification within 45 days of training completion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience: 7+ years in Healthcare IT
  • Certification: Epic certified (HIM/Deficiency Tracking)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Maintain communication with vendor and business stakeholders.
  • Achieve and maintain Epic certification.
  • Analyze workflows and system requirements.
  • Lead design, validation, and testing sessions.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support go-live and post-live activities.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and best practices.
  • Stay current with new software releases and functionality.
