Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced EPC Project Manager to lead engineering design and project execution for electrical utility infrastructure across the United States. You will collaborate with lead engineers and program managers to deliver turnkey solutions for construction clients, while expanding partnerships in your local area.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with the electric power industry and business issues in power delivery services.
• Experience in a US-based electric utilities project environment is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience in the electric power industry.
• Experience in a consulting environment is preferred.
• Ability to understand, plan, monitor and report project financial performance.
• Strong change management, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead project teams to complete engineering design for electrical infrastructure projects nationwide.
• Manage project performance, reporting, costs, schedule, and client relationships.
• Develop recovery plans to stay within approved limits.
• Interface with client and management to report progress, costs, schedule, and risks.
• Ensure contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Engineering Leads to track and deliver client requirements.
• Prepare bid documents, cost estimates, and respond to RFPs.
• Complete client invoicing and accruals within deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to grow partnerships locally.
