Job summary

Redtail Renewables is seeking an experienced Contracts Formation Lead to support the development, formation, and negotiation of contract agreements across its growing RNG projects. This role reports to the Director of Procurement and Contracts and will be heavily involved during bids, evaluations, and awards, crafting scopes of work, RFP packages, contract terms, and templates for EPC and related services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in contracts formation for EPC or related projects.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience drafting RFPs and standard/pro forma agreements.
• Strong negotiation and risk allocation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract formation through bid, evaluation, negotiation, and award.
• Partner with project and engineering teams to develop clear scopes of work, commercial requirements, RFP packages, and contract terms.
• Develop and maintain standard and pro forma agreements, including engineering services, supply, and EPC contracts.
• Ensure contracts align with project scope, technical requirements, commercial objectives, schedule, risk allocation, and performance expectations.
• Prepare and coordinate RFP and bid packages for contractors, engineering firms, equipment suppliers, and other project partners.
• Review contractor and vendor proposals and support commercial negotiations.
• Identify contractual risks, gaps, and opportunities to improve commercial terms.
• Recommend improvements to Redtail’s contract structures, templates, and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
