Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist to provide clinical and sales support for Abbott’s Structural Heart products across a defined region. You will train interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff and ancillary personnel on use of Amplatzer, Amulet and LAA Occluder, and deliver technical support during procedures.

Travel up to 50%, collaborate with Territory Managers to ensure optimal case coverage and outcomes, and help develop product marketing strategies through clinical data and

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years in Structural Heart or Electrophysiology.
• Vendor credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination, may apply.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to ensure good case coverage and outcomes.
• Serve as primary clinical resource for surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education.
• Educate customers on merits and proper clinical usage of Abbott structures.
• Inform customers of latest product and technology developments in the industry.
• Occasionally meet with health care providers to address clinical needs and offer feasible solutions.
• Travel up to 50% as required.
