The ideal candidate has 5+ years in biology or environmental science, strong quantitative skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. H1-B/STEM OPT support is not provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in biology or environmental science.
• Experience as Environmental Scientist, Biologist, Ecologist, Conservation Scientist, or similar professional.
• Strong practical expertise in biology and environmental science.
• Experience developing or reviewing scientific analyses, environmental reports, datasets, or related professional work products.
• Ability to assess scientific content for factual accuracy, methodological quality, and analytical soundness.
• Strong quantitative and scientific judgement.
• Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint / Google Slides.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• Master's degree or higher is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review biology- and environmentally focused work products for scientific accuracy and professional quality.
• Assess whether biological concepts, interpretations, and conclusions are supported.
• Identify factual errors, unsupported assumptions, and gaps in scientific reasoning.
• Review materials involving organisms, ecosystems, and biological processes.
• Apply professional judgement grounded in real-world biology and environmental science experience.
• Review analyses of environmental systems, ecological conditions, and human–environment interactions.
• Evaluate environmental findings for accuracy and appropriate context.
• Identify incomplete analyses or unsupported claims and generalisations.
• Review scientific reports, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy and completeness.
