Job summary

BSI Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to support industrial and commercial clients with environmental compliance, permitting, and related services. This role requires direct client interaction and the ability to manage multiple assignments from fieldwork through technical reporting.

Primary focus includes stormwater and wastewater, hazardous waste, chemical inventory, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, chemical, geological, or related technical field.
• 3–8 years of professional environmental consulting experience.
• Experience with environmental permits, plans, reports, or compliance deliverables.
• Experience supporting regulated industrial or commercial clients.
• Professional certification or licensure (PE, PG, CHMM, CPEA, CSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental compliance and consulting projects for industrial and commercial clients.
• Apply federal, state, and local environmental requirements to client operations.
• Prepare permit applications, plans, reports, inventories, and compliance documentation.
• Conduct site visits, records reviews, and environmental compliance assessments.
• Manage projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Prepare clear, accurate, client-ready technical reports and deliverables.
• Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, and project team members.
• Collaborate with colleagues across environmental, health, safety, and management systems.
• Support client relationships and contribute to repeat business.
• Expand capabilities in safety compliance and EHS auditing through project experience.
