Job summary

BSI is seeking an EHS Consulting Specialist in Seattle, WA for an early-career, hands-on role. You will support diverse client engagements across industries, applying IH knowledge and EHS program experience in a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes field work, data collection, and delivery of practical recommendations, with onboarding and guidance from senior consultants. Travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field
• 2-3 years of EHS/IH work experience (internships count)
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel for client projects
• Must have valid driver’s license and able to drive for projects

Responsibilities

• Conduct IH assessments, IAQ evaluations, exposure assessments, and monitoring activities.
• Support compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Perform inspections, hazard assessments, audits, and corrective action planning.
• Develop and implement EHS management systems (ISO 14001/45001).
• Develop and deliver occupational health, safety, and environmental training.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives including energy reduction and waste minimization.
• Support environmental programs including air emissions, wastewater, and hazardous waste.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments with senior staff.
• Analyze technical data to identify risks and provide practical recommendations.
• Prepare clear technical reports and client presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on hygiene, safety, environment, and sustainability projects.
• Stay current on regulations and best practices to support client solutions.
