Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Due Diligence Consultant to join our Corporate Investor Services group. The role supports business development, deal team management, environmental site assessments, technical report writing, and client service within transactional M&A due diligence.

Remote work is possible if near a major airport or via local offices in Chicago, Atlanta, Plano, and Irvine. This mid-level position requires a BS in a science field and 6–10 years in environmental

Qualifications

• BS degree in science-related discipline.
• 6–10 years of environmental consulting experience.
• Experience assessing diverse property types and transaction types.
• Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.
• Strong research, oral and written communication, and technical report writing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%+ and valid driver's license.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Phase I ESAs and environmental compliance audits.
• Coordinate multi-site deals and due diligence services.
• Evaluate real estate, commercial, and industrial operations.
• Identify environmental liabilities and potential impacts.
• Prepare clear findings, recommendations, and client deliverables.
• Develop proposals and manage budgets and timelines.
• Travel as required and collaborate with teams.
• Support business development efforts.
