Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Engineer or Scientist for our Atlanta, GA or Kennesaw, GA offices to support Due Diligence and Environmental Management and Compliance within the South Gulf Operations.

The role involves Phase I ESAs, regulatory permitting, and client-facing project leadership. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in environmental science or related field, 5+ years in environmental consulting, and strong writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in environmental science, earth science, or engineering.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Professional registrations (PE or CHMM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support due diligence projects including Phase I ESAs and other due diligence services.
• Provide multi-media environmental compliance services, including audits, permitting, and reporting.
• Develop compliance documents and permit applications under major environmental statutes (CAA, CWA, RCRA, EPCRA).
• Possess knowledge of Georgia regulatory framework; SE geography experience is a plus.
• Perform fieldwork and travel (~30%) as needed for due diligence and regulatory support.
