Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Engineer or Scientist for our Atlanta, GA or Kennesaw, GA offices to support due diligence and regulatory compliance projects. The role involves Phase I ESAs, permitting tasks, and client liaison in a dynamic consulting environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in environmental consulting, strong writing and communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 30% for fieldwork. A PE/CHMM is preferred, with a Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, earth science, or engineering.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Professional registration (PE or CHMM) preferred.
• 5+ years in environmental consulting; 7+ preferred.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Korean language skills preferred.
• Willingness for fieldwork and travel.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support due diligence projects including ASTM-compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and related services.
• Provide multi-media environmental compliance services, such as compliance audits, regulatory permitting, and reporting.
• Develop compliance documents and permit applications for CAA, CWA, RCRA, EPCRA and other regulations.
• Possibly assume task-level or project management responsibilities and contribute to business development.
• Field work and travel (~30%) may be required to support due diligence and site assessments.
• Drive personal or company vehicles to client, project, or office sites as needed.
