Apex Companies is seeking an Environmental Compliance Program Manager to lead a remote, national role in the United States. You will oversee project profitability, develop new work, and mentor scientific staff while ensuring safe, compliant project execution.

A strong background in environmental compliance and business development is essential. Annual pay range is $115,000–$140,000 USD, with eligibility for annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of solid technical experience in Environmental Compliance.
• Technical writing skills and technical oversight experience
• Business development and project management experience
• Mentoring and training experience
• Microsoft 365 / CRM
• Experience with Deltek Vision is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage cumulative project total $1M annually and achieve profitability goals.
• Develop $750K in new project work annually.
• Write and review technical reports and proposals.
• Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.
• Hire and manage subcontractors.
• Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work product.
• Ensure safe performance of project work.
