Job summary

Vannevar Labs is seeking an Enterprise Technical Lead to own technical direction and engineering delivery for a portfolio of high-value accounts. You will guide the full customer lifecycle from discovery to scale, leveraging our Agent Control Plane to prototype, test, and deploy capabilities in national-security contexts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering with production deployment
• Experience leading technical delivery on large enterprise accounts
• Familiarity with DoD RMF and NIST SP 800-53

Responsibilities

• Set technical strategy across portfolio and translate mission priorities into architectures, plans, and deployments.
• Decide when to configure existing tools, extend, or write mission-specific software; push for sustainable, secure delivery.
• Manage engineering capacity and priorities across accounts to meet commitments.
• Work directly with customers to understand mission needs and align solutions with enterprise networks and architectures.
• Shape opportunities with customer success, legal, and contracting; contribute technical content to ROMs and SOWs.
• Build and validate prototypes with customers and product teams; guide transitions to production and dedicated product teams.
• Produce architecture artifacts (system context, components, data flows) and track work in Jira/Notion; ensure traceability.
• Mentor engineers and senior ICs; support performance reviews and development planning; travel up to 20%.
• Travel up to 20% for discovery and delivery.
