Job summary

Vannevar Labs is hiring a senior Full Stack Developer to expand a mission-critical AI system deployed to government users. You will write substantial production code, own architectural decisions, and collaborate with engineers, product teams, and mission-domain experts.

The role requires DoD RMF experience, a TS clearance, and willingness to travel frequently. Based in NYC, you will engage with field users and government partners to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable solutions that

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Full Stack Developer with experience across modern front-end and back-end stacks.
• Active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• Experience developing for DoD RMF compliance and navigating government environments.
• Ability to own end-to-end technical delivery and engage with mission owners and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to design scalable architectures and write production code across the stack.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end mission problems: understand users and workflows, design the approach, build, deploy, and own the outcome.
• Architect and own direction for a product deployed directly to customer environments in mission-critical use cases.
• Collaborate with users and senior stakeholders to understand needs, constraints, and integrations.
• Lead end-to-end technical delivery for new mission workstreams from requirements to sustainment.
• Write substantial production code and improve product capabilities, performance, and scalability.
• Support government-facing artifacts such as RFIs, RFPs, and SOWs as needed.
