Job summary

Hermanson Company is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to drive continuous improvement across people, processes, information, and solutions. You will lead workshops with business experts, capture current workflows, and model to-be blueprints for developers and testers.

This fully remote U.S. role focuses on D365 F&O enhancements, Power BI, Fabric reporting, and Microsoft platform integration to optimize how work gets done and delivered to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years as a business analyst or business systems analyst on enterprise applications or process improvement work.
• Able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels and drive sessions.
• Understand margins, costs, and cash; weigh changes by business impact.
• Must be able to model processes and write clear user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Experience with data mapping, reporting specs, and testing coordination.

Responsibilities

• Engage with process owners and leaders; run interviews/workshops to uncover underlying constraints and priorities.
• Model current-state processes with maps and quantify costs (handoffs, rework, data entry).
• Define future state and design solutions around how the business operates.
• Write user stories with acceptance criteria and produce functional specs and data mappings.
• Design tests, coordinate UAT, and verify functional acceptance with business stakeholders.
• Define metrics and business rules; partner with developers to ensure trusted reports.
• Create SOPs, job aids, and training materials; support adoption and continuous improvement.
