Job summary

Ladders is assisting a leader in Aerospace & Defense to recruit an Enterprise Skills-Based Talent Development Manager 2. This role will shape and operationalize an enterprise-wide skills-based talent development strategy that aligns workforce capabilities with evolving business priorities, including governance, taxonomy design, and role profile development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in HR, talent management, or related fields, or a Master's with 6+ years.
• Experience leading large-scale talent or workforce transformation initiatives in a complex environment.
• Ability to design and implement governance structures across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a skills-based talent development governance model.
• Define and curate enterprise skills taxonomies and role profiles aligned to business strategy.
• Partner with HR technology to integrate skills structures into talent platforms.
• Lead a skills governance committee and oversee operations and reporting.
• Translate business strategies into skills-based talent development roadmaps.
• Identify critical skills for transformational roles and recommend targeted development strategies.
• Engage stakeholders to promote the skills-based model and drive adoption.
