Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG), a AAA insurer, is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Lead to support risk framework development and complex analysis. The role emphasizes implementing and monitoring ERM processes, while coordinating AI governance activities and cross-functional risk reviews across Compliance, Legal, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and Technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of proven experience in risk management, insurance, financial analysis, actuarial, underwriting, product management or related experience required.
• Prior experience in Enterprise Risk Management strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to accurately complete complex projects within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve enterprise risk management processes across risk areas.
• Coordinate cross-functional risk reviews with Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, Cybersecurity and Data teams.
• Develop timely, accurate risk reports, analyses, dashboards, and executive briefings with clear ownership.
• Identify emerging risks and trends (including AI-related risks) and advise on governance.
• Determine governance review pathways based on materiality and risk.
• Draft risk acceptance or approval conditions, escalation recommendations, and decision records.
• Develop and maintain enterprise risk and AI governance policies, procedures, standards, playbooks, templates and risk tiers.
• Respond to external ERM compliance, information, and reporting requirements.
