Job summary

Justrite Safety Group in the United States is seeking an Enterprise Logistics Manager to oversee the transportation network across business units, manage 3PL relationships, and drive cost efficiencies. You will establish performance measures, lead reviews, and partner with units to standardize practices and resolve issues.

The role focuses on optimizing freight spend, on-time delivery, and provider performance while coordinating international and intercompany logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive transportation, logistics, supply chain, or 3PL experience.
• Experience managing complex, multi-site, or decentralized transportation environments.
• Strong ability to own strategic logistics-provider relationships, including establishing service expectations and KPIs, conducting business reviews, resolving escalations, negotiating terms, and driving continuous improvement.
• Proven success in reducing freight costs and improving on-time delivery, and improving provider performance.
• Strong knowledge of international transportation, HTS codes, and intercompany shipments.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic relationships with 3PLs, brokers, carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers, including service levels, performance reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Establish and monitor key transportation performance measures, including freight spend, on-time delivery, claims, accessories, and provider performance.
• Conduct regular business and shipment-level reviews to identify cost, service, and process issues and drive corrective action.
• Partner with business units to improve transportation performance, establish operating practices, and address recurring issues.
• Develop and maintain enterprise transportation policies, standards, reporting, and governance practices.
• Negotiate transportation rates, contracts, service levels, and other commercial terms with logistics providers in partnership with procurement and business-unit leadership.
• Identify and implement opportunities to reduce transportation costs through network optimization, mode selection, and improved practices.
• Lead competitive transportation analysis and periodic RFP activity to evaluate provider performance and market competitiveness.
• Support evaluation of transportation provider and network alternatives, including changes to 3PL relationships and direct carrier management where appropriate.
• Serve as the enterprise escalation point for significant transportation cost, service, or provider issues.
• Oversee international logistics provider performance and support international and intercompany transportation requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of international shipping documentation, HTS classification, import/export processes, and related requirements.
• Lead transportation-related projects and process improvements in coordination with business units and external providers.
