Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Business System Analyst (Governance) for a remote, contract role. You will partner with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Security and Risk teams to govern enterprise systems, assess architecture, and drive modernization opportunities.

The role emphasizes governance standards, data quality, and operational resilience across technology solutions. You will develop models, maps, and dashboards (Power BI) to communicate impact and progress, while ensuring alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years in Systems Support, Analytics, or Operational Support.
• Experience partnering with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Engineering and Security teams.
• Experience evaluating system integrations, APIs, middleware platforms, data flows.
• Experience supporting technology governance and risk assessments.
• Banking or financial services technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Architecture and Engineering to assess current and target-state architectures.
• Analyze applications, APIs, data flows, and infrastructure dependencies for risks.
• Participate in architecture reviews and provide recommendations on scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain business capability maps, process flows, and system interaction models.
• Assess impact of changes across applications, platforms, and business processes.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise standards and information security requirements.
• Identify and mitigate technology-related risks with risk/compliance teams.
• Drive governance reporting and metrics development to measure effectiveness.
