Job summary

ZipRecruiter is seeking a Manager, Decision Science to lead the Enterprise Decision Science team and drive data-driven decisions across campaigns, apply experiences, ATS integrations, and candidate-quality signals. You will play a hands-on role while coaching a small team, ensuring rigorous analyses and clear recommendations to Product, Engineering, and GTM partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of analytics or data science experience in a product/engineering/tech environment.
• 1+ years of people management experience with performance reviews.
• Experience measuring impact with A/B tests and causal inference methods.
• Ability to synthesize quantitative findings for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of decision scientists supporting the Enterprise area and manage performance and career development.
• Set methodological standards, evaluate causal claims, and balance rigor with practical decision-making.
• Define questions worth asking, prioritize analyses, and align work with Enterprise goals.
• Measure GTM and Sales-Led initiatives using quasi-experimental designs or descriptive analyses when randomized tests are not feasible.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Rev Ops, Sales/GTM, and Customer Success to influence direction and communicate findings.
