Job summary

ZipRecruiter is seeking a Manager, Decision Science to lead the Enterprise Decision Science team. You will mentor a small team and conduct strategic analyses while collaborating with Product, Engineering, Rev Ops, and GTM partners to drive enterprise outcomes.

You’ll translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations, balancing quantitative signals with qualitative feedback to guide product and sales decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of analytics or data science in a product/engineering/tech environment.
• 1+ year of people management experience, including performance management and career development.
• Experience leading data work on important business initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience measuring impact with A/B tests and quasi-experimental or causal inference methods.
• Strong communication and ability to present complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of decision scientists supporting the Enterprise area.
• Set methodological standards, guide rigorous analyses, and coach on appropriate rigor for each question.
• Own the decision science agenda for Enterprise and partner with stakeholders to define key questions.
• Evaluate GTM and Sales-Led initiatives; choose strongest causal or descriptive approaches based on data availability.
• Serve as trusted analytics partner for cross-functional teams and influence prioritization across the enterprise.
