Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Enterprise Data Modeler (Medicare Advantage) to design enterprise data models that underpin a large healthcare data transformation. You will collaborate with data architects, governance teams, and domain stakeholders to build scalable, business-aligned structures for analytics, reporting, and AI.

Remote position open to qualified applicants in the United States. Strong background in Medicare Advantage domains and cloud-based data platforms is essential, along with a BA/BS

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with enterprise data modeling across conceptual, logical, physical domains.
• Demonstrated expertise in Medicare Advantage data domains (Members/Enrollment, Providers/Networks, Claims/Encounters, RAF/HCC, CMS reporting).
• Ability to translate business concepts into enterprise data models and define consistent definitions across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data models aligned with business strategy.
• Create conceptual, canonical, logical, physical, and domain models for Medicare Advantage domains.
• Facilitate workshops to align data definitions, standards, and relationships.
• Align models with governance, metadata, MDM, analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.
• Partner with implementation teams to translate models into scalable cloud-based solutions.
