Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Enterprise Data Modeler - Healthcare Payer to design enterprise-wide data models supporting a large-scale healthcare transformation. You will collaborate with business leaders, data architects, governance teams, and domain stakeholders to craft scalable data structures enabling analytics, reporting, AI, and operational excellence.

Remote-friendly in the United States, with emphasis on Medicare Advantage domains and cloud-based data platforms.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise data modeling across conceptual to physical levels.
• Strong data architecture experience within health plan/payer environments.
• Ability to translate complex business concepts into enterprise data models.
• Experience facilitating requirements discovery sessions and workshops.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, MDM, data quality and data lineage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data models aligned with data strategy and objectives.
• Create conceptual, canonical, logical, physical, and domain models for Medicare Advantage domains.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to define data standards and relationships.
• Align models with governance, MDM, analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.
• Partner with implementation teams to translate models into scalable cloud-based solutions.
