Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Enterprise Data Modeler - Healthcare Payer to design enterprise-wide data models that underpin a large healthcare transformation program. You will collaborate with business leaders, data architects, governance teams, and domain stakeholders to create scalable, business-aligned structures for analytics, reporting, AI, and operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise data modeling across conceptual, canonical, logical, physical and domain models.
• Strong data architecture experience within health plan/payer environments, Medicare Advantage experience a plus.
• Experience translating business concepts into enterprise data models and establishing definitions across stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data governance, metadata, MDM, data quality and data lineage concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data models aligned with data strategy.
• Create canonical and domain models for Medicare Advantage domains.
• Lead workshops to define business definitions, standards, and entity relationships.
• Align data models with governance, analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with implementation teams to translate data models into cloud-based solutions.
